Arrive Paro & Transfer To Thimphu (65 Km / 1 Hr Drive)
Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, our representative will be there to assist with a warm meet-and-greet. You will be transferred to the unique capital city of Thimphu. Spend the rest of the day at leisure acclimatizing to the serene Himalayan air. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Thimphu - Capital City Sightseeing
Explore Thimphu, a unique capital with no traffic lights. Visit the Folk Heritage Museum, National Library, Handicrafts Center, Indigenous Medicine Hospital, and the Painting School. Catch a glimpse of Tashichho Dzong, then head uphill to the Takin Zoo to see Bhutan's national animal. Afternoon highlights include the National Memorial Chorten and the massive Buddha statue. In the evening, stroll from Clock Tower Square into the main town. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Discover Kyichu Lhakhang, a highly sacred 7th-century monastery. Later, visit the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, a 17th-century fortress. Enjoy a leisurely evening. Overnight stay in Paro.
