Arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and enjoy a scenic transfer to Phuentsholing, the Indo-Bhutan border town. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax or explore the local market. Process for route permits. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
Day 2 Phuentsholing to Thimphu
Day 3 Thimphu Sightseeing
Day 4 Thimphu to Punakha
Day 5 Punakha to Paro

Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra and Transfer to Phuentsholing Phuentsholing

Day 2: Phuentsholing to Thimphu Thimphu
After breakfast, begin your picturesque drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. The journey is an experience in itself, winding through breathtaking mountain roads, hairpin bends, and sections carved into rock faces, via Chukka. Check into your hotel upon arrival. In the afternoon, you can relax, and in the evening, spend some time exploring Clock Tower Square, the heart of Thimphu. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing Thimphu
Today, explore the unique charm of Thimphu. Visit the Folk Heritage Museum, National Library (housing ancient texts), Handicraft Center to witness traditional arts, and the Indigenous Medicine Hospital. Drive to the lowlands of Punakha valley, crossing the Dochula Pass (10,000 feet). Stop at Hongtsho village and the immigration checkpoint for permit stamping.
